Rock Patterns

High on the wild moorland of Bleaklow Fell in the Peak District.  It was a miserable day of low cloud, wind, and intermittent rain.  Not much in the way of views as I sought the shelter of a stream gully for a sandwich and a swig from my Thermos.  As I was pondering on the meaning of life, what does it all mean, and what the hell was I doing up here on a day like this anyway when I could be at home in a nice warm darkroom, I got to contemplating the patterns in the stream bed.  This was the result.

Bronica SQ - 50mm lens.  ¼sec f22.  Ilford FP4 film.
