St Mary's Church.

The church is notable for its dalle de verre glass,
by Carl Edwards of Whitefriars.

The Church of St Lawrence. Grade II* listed.

Originally known as St James Chapel this church was completed in 1532
and enlarged in 1878 by the addition of a chancel and transepts.

The beams are fixed by wooden pegs giving rise to its
local name as Th'owd peg (the old peg).
